I currently live on the West Coast of Canada on beautiful Vancouver island. I visited Vancouver Island from the interior of Canada some years ago with 3 friends and we vowed we would some day live in this gorgeous place. One year later, we were! It is here that I met my husband and had two lovely children. Before children, I graduated from the Resource Management Program at Vancouver Island University and worked in the field of environmental enforcement and conservation as both a Park Ranger and a Conservation Officer.
I love the outdoors and all the discoveries and beauties it provides and I am still passionate about conservation, but with family schedules this line of work just didn’t seem to fit. As a result, I decided to embark on another dream of mine. The World of Interior Design! I was encouraged on this path by many friends and family all of which I appreciate having in my life so much. To move forward with this dream I enrolled in an Interior Design course which I completed in the spring of 2014.
My personal design tastes are heavily influenced by my travels and I hope these influences will continue to grow as my family and I embark on many travels in the future. I look forward to learning more about design styles and architecture through other cultures and passing these influences onto my clients with both my blog posts and in home consultations.
I love trying new things, being bold with design ideas and creating great interiors with a variety of colors and textures. I want to help all my clients have a home they love, both inside and out, no matter what the size or budget.
