4 Bags, 4 People and 7 Months

Well, we have packed our teeny tiny little carry on bags and are ready to go. We will spend the first leg of our trip in Vancouver visiting family before we head off for exotic lands. It has been an incredible and emotional week saying farewell to family, friends and co-workers. Sometimes you just look around a room and really see the people you have surrounded yourself with and feel completely blessed. Can’t tell you how many times I felt that this last week. And don’t even get me started on my little poopy dog.

And anybody that knows my Winston will know how much this dog will be missed. But he is in good hands and will still love me 7 months from now. I hope!!

We fly out of Vancouver on December 2 and head to the Big Island of Hawaii. We have a full 5 weeks to explore Hawaii and enjoy relaxed days and tropical breezes. Who could think of a better way to start a 7 month journey? From Hawaii we will head to Indochina, Sri Lanka and then off to Europe for the last leg. I will post often to share some of our exciting (mostly good I hope) adventures. Happy to know we will visit family while we travel and meet up with dear friends in various places.
